A manager of McDonalds has done all those things. I've done all those things. Neither of us are qualified to be President.

Actually, a manager of a McDonalds has never managed a budget the size and scope of, for example, the State of Alaska. Not even close.

A manager of McDonalds has very little experience with delegation of authority and responsibility, and frankly, wouldn't begin to understand the concepts involved with negotiating very large deals (the busiest McDonalds franchises in the country are dealing with revenue in the 10M and under range; more typically, $3M and under).

Palin and McCain have both dealt with these issues more than the other two guys combined -- Palin with the state of Alaska and McCain while managing a large military unit which, by all accounts, he miraculously turned around.
