It's not the right wing presidential nominee who started his political career in the living room of a domestic terrorist.

It's not 'under the guise' of protecting your freedom AND life when a ruthless enemy, with modern communication capability and the internet, has declared war on all Americans and proved their determination by killing 3000 Americans in one day on US soil.

McCain offers $5,000 tax credit so Americans can acquire health insurance in the private sector. Government is not always the answer to every challenge - once you've convinced youself of the faulty premise a nanny state is effective - you're doomed to receive the government you deserve. In Obama's case it would be oppressive and authoritarian - endangering all Americans personal freedom.

Miracle: we agree on school vouchers - good luck with getting that wise idea past teacher's unions.

Why do you blame the USA for all the financial stress? OPEC drove up oil prices, which is one of the events that triggered the financial meltdown. Until recently, under pressure, the Democrats would not even take a vote on domestic drilling. They've also mismanaged Fannie/Freddie--so don't try to pin that one on the Repubs.

As far as abortion - whatever the majority of women decide would be fine with me. However, without some restrictions on late stage, partial birth abortion, we can consider ourselves barbarians. Agreed the government cannot control female bodies(their private domain) but at some point the fetus can survive without the host body - is it not an independent human being at that stage? That's the crux of the issue, and the Supreme Court should pinpoint that stage in fetal development. It's a secondary issue - national security is far more crucial, and lives already on earth should take priority for voters during presidential campaigns.

Liberal politics today in the US is equivalent to Venezuela's Chavez - that's one of the heads of state Obama plans to emulate, if given the chance.

>I don't want right wing presidents tapping your phones and reading your mail without warrants under the guise of "protecting your freedom". That's why I don't want right wing judges telling women what they can and cannot do. That's why I support school vouchers. That's why I support the kind of health care reform that guarantees equal access for everyone, regardless of where they work or live. I want a financially strong nation with a balanced budget and pragmatic foreign policy.<
