Well Mr. Caruthers... Is there something you... forgot... to tell me? <vIg> I think there must be something... something I might want to know... something "new"... something so "new" that it isn't even "news"... yet? Well you think about it. I know I will. Actually its getting hard to think about anything else. I mean... since I can't let myself even think about buying stock... not in this gloried old chicken coup we have mistakenly labeled: Earth. I logged on to make my usual Google rounds tonight and couldn't help but notice a couple of old *FREE* range hens that finally decided to come back and lay some eggs: latimes.com nytimes.com But hey... who wants to talk about the privacy rights of a few NGO's, bird colonels, and divorced Alaskan Troopers! If McMaverick and his faithful companion... Tontine... can ignore them... so can I!! In any case I am being inundated with curious clues... analog clues... mostly... some strange sushi shuffling... but mostly industrial strength... analog waves... of well... it looks like plain old power to me. Frankly I can't make heads or tails of it. If I didn't know better... I'd have to guess that we are about to get out of the future memory gate business... and into some kind of... system state... circuit hub... *flip/flopping latches on steroids* business. Like... little... serial... nano brains. IC's that not only let your robot turn itself on and off... but remember, maintain, and act on its own name, place, time, temperature, job, destination and fuel... and yours too. Any information analog sensors can sense... it seems Ramtron wants to have a "MemLog" IC to handle it. Of course... they won't be able to actually call these things "MemLog's." I know this because I have exclusive rights to... DANG!! water.siemens.com Damn You Seimens!! Damn you all to Hellespont!!! Oh well... it didn't sound like a very sexy app anyway. TI will probably force them to call 'em something stupid like... TIMEM's... and take all the street creds too. Uh and... Don't forget Mr. Caruthers... I'm telling you right now... before its too late. Don't expect to see any revenue "ramp" until about 2525... Right after our Alien liberators gain final control over the dead enders in the former Glacier National Park... and start promoting Galacticization... their replacement for the Globalization movement made famous by Bush I... founder of the brief Bushite Dienasty... which utterly collapsed under Bushwarus The Dumb, feeble son of Bush I... and progenitor of McMaverick The Git.
