My reading of the unemployment tea leaves is thus; official rate is 6.1%, it will rise to at least 6.4% in the next report based on current layoff figures. Then discouraged workers, people who have used up their unemployment checks and other work force drop outs along with people working part time for some kind of work currently add another 4% ; for a total real unemployment of over 10% - and rising. Check any real labor economics study of our current workforce that is party neutral.
