Carbite Golf: 17 Percent Sales Increase In Third Quarter of 1997 October 16, 1997 Carbite Golf (VSE: CAB) is pleased to announce that its sales for the 3rd quarter ending September 30, 1997 increased by 17 percent to approximately $2.9 million US due in part to a better than expected sell-through at the retail level. As a result, the Company has decided to limit the offering announced in its press release on September 30, 1997 to $5,000,000 Canadian and is making efforts to have this amount reduced even further. The final quarter numbers should be available in thirty (30) days.
