You missed my question... here is it again:

Tell me something, if you were interviewing someone for a job and asked him questions critical to the performance of the job and he told you that those areas of query were off limits and that he refuses to answer them, would you hire him for the job? Don't skate around the question, a simple yes or no is all I'm asking for, would you still hire him or interview someone else instead?
