Going back to WW I they have done it fewer times that the Republicans. In WW II our nation was attacked by another nation..so are you implying that we should have merely turned our cheek? Now watch you fall into the trap I've set for you with my answer. Long, the Republican Party attacked Roosevelt as being un-American when he gave his, I HATE WAR, speech in Chautauqua, NY as we were being forced into WW II. Long, the Republicans, even Eisenhower, protested Truman's decision to drop the atomic bomb on Japan. The Republicans wanted to endanger our soldiers lives by invading Japan.....but Truman made the hard decision. Are you saying we shouldn't have done anything when Germany and Japan declared war on the US? Now watch you divert and never answer a question.. Long..question! Is the sky blue?
