As I previously answered:

... with regard to the American Presidency, the American people remain TOTALLY FREE to use any criteria that they WANT TO in arriving at their personal decision as to who to vote for, and who to not vote for.

Which is exactly fine by me!

And, I think, also exactly how our founders wanted it to be.

...Now, GZ, are you going to propose that our Constitution be altered... and some new and different requirements be inserted for qualifying to run for the Presidency, or not?

Because if you are not... you STILL have EXACTLY AS MUCH PERSONAL LIBERTY to make *your own mind up* as to whom you want to vote for as ANY OTHER CITIZEN OF THIS GREAT LAND.

(And, as I've pointed out: I'm happy with America that way!)
