Hi Chinu,

I am familiar with the idiom.

At the FED, Bernanke is the top - at least in one sense.

In another sense, Bush is at the top of the government and he appointed him and could ask for his resignation. So I take your point. If Bernanke is responsible in large part for the problem, an argument exists for blaming the President. Of course, Congress approved Bernanke too. So we could blame them too.

I do think that how we got here is less important than how we get out of the mess.

I certainly was not accusing you of being an elitist or anything else. I barely know you. :-)
