Pampa de Pongo? I thought it was a traveling troupe of Flamenco dancers, and their accompanying musicians. I seem to remember them as having appeared on TV with the The Three Tenors some years ago.

In all seriousness, though, Pampa de Pongo translate from old Nazca meaning, "I lost my mule on the grassy plain." Alternatively, "I lost my ass in the grass."
