If Obama didn't agree with Ayers' educational views, why would he agree to serve and why would he participate in directing the funding to Ayers' projects?

It's not like Ayers' agenda in relation to other educational models was akin to the difference between the Freudian and Skinnerian approaches in psychological theory, for example.

Ayers' mission was not really about education, except in the broad sense that education is used in indoctrination techniques to promote a given political agenda.

If Obama is as smart as they claim, he had to know what Ayers was about. He made the decision to align himself with Ayers and to assist in furthering Ayers' agenda.

The fact that the project failed under BO's watch is simply a testament to his lack of executive skills as well as subtle proof that the purpose was not really to improve education at all.
