There are other issues.
While ACORN is making every effort to register young and poor, black voters (i.e., those who will support Obama by an overwhelming margin) they are making no effort to register anyone else. THere lacks any element of fairness in their actions.
These entities are 501(c)(3) organizations, and should not be engaged in the act of political persuasion, yet, that's precisely what they're doing. ACORN's PAC has endorsed Obama, and they are selectively registering voters to vote for him.
They're rigging the election. In the end it may not matter, but they're definitely trying their hearts out. It is no secret that the Obama campaign has paid them to do this.
As I said, you'll buy, steal, or do anything else that gets your socialist into office. Even though it clearly is a destructive force against our democracy.
This is the difference in Republicans and Dems. A Dem will ALMOST ALWAYS put the quest for power above the importance of the democracy. Republicans tend put country first. McCain clearly showed this last week, when realizing that his chances of winning are slipping, by instilling the notion that an Obama presidency is not to be feared.
It is, of course, to be feared. The country is already moving dangerously close to socialism with these government bailouts. Put Obama in office, where wealth is redistributed, health care is socialized, Congress does not serve as a check/balance on the Presidency, the Court will be packed with extremists, and the president himself is an unapologetic socialist with an extreme [even for a socialist] agenda -- and you have the makings for the absolute destruction of the democracy.
At no time in my life has such a threat to the democracy existed. |
