So a trader who is short QCOM claims in Barron's that QCOM will see selling? What would you expect him to say? Nokia will prosper, but Qualcomm will not? I think you give that guy and Barron's far too much credit. Serious investors recognize that QCOM has already bled 20 points quickly, and the company reaffirmed guidance in late September. The recession and weak guidance have been priced in, and institutions will be buyers, not sellers, if there's a rally.
