An honest analysis of it looks as though there was a political negotiation and the outcome was nil; each side got some of what they wanted, and there was no basis whatsoever for the claim of an ethics violation.

It doesn't matter. It is over, and there is zero harm done to her reputation in the process, and it is no help to the Obama campaign. Which was, after all, the only reason the issue was brought up at this time.

These kinds of bogus charges are bandied about all the time. The Dems in Arkansas went after Huckabee, who as squeaky clean as a governor could possibly be. It is just part of the game.

Get over it.
