This bear erased 40-60% of equities value worldwide, and the panic last week got volatility to a record close to 1987 crash. In particular, the DOW erased all gains of 2003-2007 interim bull market, now back to where it was 10 years ago. Oh yeah, that's lots of pain! >> its not pain if it goes right back up it needs to grind out. its pain when 10 yr returns are severely negative. imo
