Most news is "Fix News." Even CNN, the news network I prefer, has a pro-Obama bias. (Hard not to when CNN has an international scope and the international community also prefers Obama.)

News coverage can only be so fair. By its nature and the nature of those who cover it.

FNC does by far the best of balancing the coverage. No other national source even comes close. They also do a far better job of drawing the line between hard news and commentary than any other source.

I watched predominantly CNN for years (nothing else to choose from). When I began to watch FNC and MSNBC I was literally shocked at the differences in news reported as "factual" amongst the three. And it does lead one to ask, "How do I know what is correct?"

Now, we were aware of the bias in our household as far back as the first Gulf War when Peter Arnett was walking around in Baghdad bashing the US. But I just had no idea how bad it was until FNC came on the scene and began reporting the facts.

Perhaps the best example of CNN's bias I can think of (there are many, many) is this joker Michael Ware who covers Iraq for them. He cannot report; he is a commentator. Yet, he is presented as hard news. Just listen to anything he comes up with. WITHOUT FAIL he gives his opinion (disguised as fact) about how the war is going. And it is ALWAYS colored negatively, to insure that the American people think the war is going poorly.

On the political scene, CNN's coverage of this election has been worse than any I can remember, but they've always been horribly in the tank for the liberal. But the Campbell Brown malicious attacks on Palin were just so far over the top that we simply cannot watch her anymore.

I always laugh when someone tries to defend CNN's coverage (which I'm not suggesting you did) -- anyone who concludes that is either not trying to obtain honest news coverage OR is simply so out of touch as to not understand they are being fed propaganda.
