RASMUSSEN MONDAY: OBAMA 50%, MCCAIN 45%... DEVELOPING...

This thing may not be over yet. Notwithstanding ABC Sunday's use of the obvious outlier Newsday poll in its broadcast today, it is still a 5-6 point race.

I did think it funny, though, that when citing a poll this morning, the MSM chose to rely on Newsday which was so far out of step with all the other polls as to be obviously not credible. Yet, they chose to run with it to show just how badly McCain is losing.

Only a few weeks ago we were told if Obama isn't ahead by 6-7 points going in he can't win. 'Cause we're all a bunch of racists.

Now, we're seeing 6-7 point leads by every poll yet the MSM thinks it is appropriate to pick the biggest outlier. These guys.

If McCain can keep it together the next couple of days then not be so weak on attacking Obama in the debate, he could still win it.

Dick Morris may have been right -- Obama may be peaking too soon.
