The Nikkei is Sooooo wimpy. Japs are waaaaaayyy too conservative. Never mind Pearl Harbour, that was an anomaly. When they smell blood they run screaming from the scene. All that hooey about banzai warriors etc.. just propaganda and to justify using the A-bomba. The real message. Nipponese investors are wimps. No chutzpah.

Glad to see BM's making the scene.

Iron is hard one to fathom. No comex. All private deals. Maybe it is Chinese dragon noodle holidays or sumpthing. My vote is Chineses want lower pricee, leave large inventory on wharf. Give everybody month off. Price drop. More favourable for economy.

No cause for concern in China's industrial expansion. Everything is under control. State control. Nobody is dying unnecessarily.

"Contaminated water in villages in southern China has sickened 450 people, with four people suffering from arsenic poisoning, state media reported. All 647 residents of two villages in Guangxi were tested for arsenic poisoning after reports of symptoms such as vomiting, blurred vision and facial swelling emerged on October 3. Torrential rains from a typhoon in late September had caused waste water pools belonging to Jinhai Metallurgy Chemical Co to overflow. Metal industries in the area have been ordered to suspend production pending inspections and rebuilding of waste water discharge equipment."
