BTW, Krugmans column in the NYT today gives credit to Gordon Brown for possibly coming up with the plan that will get the world out of this mess. I was thinking the same thing the last couple of days. All of a sudden the EU is leading on this issue and our Treasury Pat Paulsen is following their lead.
