Short Answer. Yes I am. I am a LT commodity bull and precious metal bull. But I am not in the same time warp as all the goldbugs. They need to slow down a bit, imo.

This is the first big shakeout in commodities I think, and gold has yet to even really start.

Gold cracking 1000 and staying there is a momentous event, truly. Many do not realize the significance. It is not thus just gonna magically happen. But it will happen.

Although gold tracks the CRB quite well, I am not of the opinion it is exactly in sync. At heart I am a LT market participant. That is what I like to do the best. I think one will come out a head by weighting other metals more so than gold initially, then rotate to gold. I would expect the pure commodity metals to top well before gold does. The latter will probably happen after most of us who communicate on these boards at present are pushing up daisies to to speak.

I also think it likely this big shakeout is going to turn a lot of folk in the wrong direction. There are times when one wants to be a trader, and other times when one should be an investor. What might happen post this shakeout, w/r to that issue?

Time to be a trader eh?
