Thanks,

Gold looks like a chicken little play these days.. as opposed to inflation etc.. Since I'm not a goldbug I have a sense that oil and food are better LT plays... (and alternative energy as a corollary) or at least easier for me to grasp..

I think one will come out a head by weighting other metals more so than gold initially, then rotate to gold It seems like a good idea... by the time all the other metals are getting toppy .. the mainstream starts crying about inflation (still a big theme her even with oil off so dramatically) and that is good for gold..

The latter will probably happen after most of us who communicate on these boards at present are pushing up daisies to to speak. Wow how long term are you looking out... I'm 52... I grow a lot of daisies in my garden but don't plan on pushing any up for a while :O) I guess that begs the question as to to what is your typical 'trader' time frame .. weeks, months, ??

OT: Weren't you considering a big a$$ camper bus at one time ? Anything ever come of that ? I bought a 24 ft hybrid (sleeps 8 but 4-6 comfortably, with elbow room) trailer this summer.. (oil crisis sale :O) Going to cross the US next summer, visit my sister in California and a host of relatives up the coast in BC... Won't make Alaska this go though.. :O)
