Sorry John, s4eems we got derailed someplace along the way - might be also why the Lane3 arguement seemed so strange to me. My original comment on this subject was arguing against what Kristol suggested McCain needed to do to turn things around. Soooo, I thought all subsequent comments were about this. My fault. I continue to fail to understand why this is such a hard distinction to understand The distinction is easy to understand - that it changes McCains campaign away from negative personal attacks - to the issues is just false IMO. My argument is that it is more of the same. If you are saying that Wright issue is a sunny new face for McCain, then we are just going to have to disagree. steve
