Do you not think that the fact that it has existed for thousands of years might be an indicator of success, or do you deny that studies show that it is the most likely indicator of success.
By the way I did not say the Florida Congressman has no family values, I said he had congressional family values:)
I don't know about you, but when I talked to my daughter about these kind of things as she was growing up, I taught her that cheating on a spouse, is lying and deceitful. Do you think lying and deceit are family values. I encouraged her to marry before she had children because I felt she and her children were less likely to be living in poverty, than if she were a single mom. Don't you think that is true? I taught her not to be promiscuous, because as I explained you are not only sleeping with the guy you know, but everyone he ever slept with. Is this bad advice?
We also did things like taking toys and food to homeless centers. She must have walked a thousand miles for aids, cancer, whatever.
Look all you can do is raise them and let them out on their own, but you can at least steer them in the right direction.
And yes if I see some Politician, Sport Jock or Hollywood Jerk, living a destructive life style I commented on it. I tried to get her to understand that is no way to live and that conduct should not be emulated.
I don't know if you have children, but is that so different than what you taught them.
