Hussein is saying he'll give everyone in the country a 3 mo vacation from paying mortgage payments. Thats not the way he words it but its how it'd work out. Great idea for troubled banks and thrifts. I suspect he actually may want to drive them all out of business being a socialist and all. Do you understand what it means to invert the yield curve? Do you understand that providing banks with liquidity while reducing the fed funds rate will allow banks to make money hand over fist? Do you understand that it will most likely cost less to find a way to keep people in their homes rather than foreclose, rehab and resell the property? Do you ever think before you post?
