Arrow of time cannot be pointed backwards. Time proceeds towards where the arrow of time is pointing.

No one is seeing the fact that a whole generation of baby boomers with money to invest are trying to live off capital.

When the growth engines was the OECD it worked. As the number of the new class of capitalists grew AND the center of economic growth moved to emegring markets, they system started sputering.

First artificial investiment areas appeared as Tech bubble sucked the money of the new class of capitalists.

Second the housing bubble promised a new area to suck the capital from the hands of the new capitalists.

Now the system is wide open to see there is no investiment worth put your money in unless it is directed to emerging markets.
