Of course. Any change to the tax code is going to have an element of wealth redistribution. But some are more egregious than others, and some are productive while others aren't. The Bush changes obviously resulted in a stronger economy than we otherwise would have had.

The changes Obama proposes are counter-productive, i.e., a handout that encourages people not to be self-sufficient. Socialism.

When you talk about "redistribution of wealth" from the haves to the have nots, you are talking about something that has consistently, without fail, broken economies, throughout history. In every case.

There can be no better evidence of it than the Great Society.
