I'm not so sure ... I have gotten very good glimpses of NSM's process
technology through SEMATECH. NSM is definitely a "process follower"
and not a "process leader". Actually, AMD has more state-of-the-art
processes in production for advanced CPU's than does NSM. If this is
NSM future "process plan", then NSM/Cyrix will be relegated to the
<$1000 market ... followed by the ... <$500 market!! Making a profit
in this area will be extremely tough. NSM/Cyrix will always be "a speed bin
short" !!
