"It's all about the numbers. Vote early and vote often."

Two different issues, Tenchu. Voter registration fraud is different from voter fraud. You keep mixing them up.

Again, ACORN's goal is to register legitimate voters. They do that by hiring people to do the registrations. Some of those figure "why spend the time?" and decide to just make up false information or use a phone book. Or even file duplicates.

"but how many other fradulent registrations did ACORN file without such obviously ridiculous names?"

Probably a few. How many were used in committing voter fraud? Name, oh, 20 prosecutions over the past 4 years. The DOJ has had this as a top priority over the past 8 years. That was what the whole point behind the firing of the USA's, Republicans thought those USA's were tackling small matters like child pornography and political corruption instead of the big issue of voter fraud.

With that kind of focus, surely they had some actual cases?

While you are at it, any link as to what the penalty for voter registration fraud is? I am coming up dry. I do know that voter fraud is a felony, that I can find. But not for voter registration.

TIA.
