My wife and I have been polled a few times by the state Democratic party in VA; never by a Republican pollster AFAIK. All the robo-calls we get are Democratic too.

I can only conclude that McCain chose not to have a big ground organization in VA, or he has written it off as a TV-advertising-only state.

But without a dent in the Kerry blue states and Iowa firmly nailed down, Obama only needs one more state like VA to win. And he has a whole parade of battleground states leaning his way now.
