>Such views are usually represented by activist judges who are fond of interpreting the Constitution in whatever way suits their own agendas.

I dunno about that; it was considered the standard interpretation for about a century in the Supreme Court.

>Anyway, turning public schools into religion-free zones ensures that the religion of atheism is free to drive whatever agenda it deems fit. You realize that atheism was argued by its adherents as a religion?

Don't care. It isn't one. Besides, who wants to turn public schools into religion-free zones? I don't. I just don't want the teachers and administrators, who are on public payroll, to be the ones leading it in schools. Students can do whatever they want.

>Telling kids that homosexuality is OK and acceptable.

It's a scientifically natural thing. I don't know how you can deny it.

>Many religions still consider homosexuality to be a sin, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Doesn't mean we should round up the homosexuals into concentration camps and paint pink triangles on them, but it does mean that if it's part of the public school curriculum, you're necessarily going to run smack into the beliefs of many families, especially those who can't afford private school.

And 60 years ago large swaths of the country thought that black people and white people should remain separate.
