Maybe I didn't make myself clear.

Sharia law is acceptable only when it does not clash with UK law. In other words, a large amount of it is simply not acceptable - as the example you helpfully provide.

I agree with you absolutely on this issue.

To the extent that religious extremists try to influence or subvert national laws, we have entirely the same attitude.

What is also true, however, is that most UK Muslims are loyal citizens.
