It's a huge part of the problem. I don't like the notion that certain people groups can't afford to get picture IDs, so why bother with them? That's the stuff that helps identity theft become one of the fastest growing crimes of this decade.

But that's a whole new can of worms.

Suffice to say that ACORN probably doesn't give a damn when it comes to fradulent registrations. They'll just defend their own efforts to register poor and minority voters, then pretend that the whole problem with fradulent registrations is out of their hands.
