I haven't bothered to get data. Its my opinion that America is the best country on earth for poor people. There is so much opportunity to better oneself here. I know there are other prospersous countries but I don't think their economies are as dynamic ... largely because they're hampered by a larger welfare state. I posted the claim because I know it disturbs liberals to see good things written about America. So every now and then I do just to get them to run America down. ---------------------------------------- Are the Danish and UK immigrants to the US poor people? No, likely not, that was an aside comment. However, they likely are looking for more opportunities they can't get at home. More opportunity here for everyone.
