I'd rather see them increase the dividend than buy back shares. This seems like a dividend environment to me.

For argument sake, doubling the annual dividend to $1.28 would take 6 years to empty the coffers. And raise the yield to 3.5% (at current prices).

All the while, attracting a new kind of buy and hold investor.
