Obama is handling the "who has the dirtier campaign" issue very smoothly; McCain is feistier than he has been in earlier debates and he is trying hard to score points tonight.

Makes for better entertainment than the first two, so far.

Whether many voters are interested in the sideshow or interested in all this political melodrama is another issue.

Now Obama is getting on track with the theme that bashing one another doesn't do any good.

And off we go with Ayers and ACORN, the full salvo....wow. McCain is really trying to spin the whole thing in high gear. The red base will love it but the audience reaction meter from undecided Ohio voters just dropped highly negative the more McCain went on about Ayers.
