Dale -

I'm watching the debate on a slight delay, and am only about 7/8 of the way through it.

Once again, I am really pissed off by McCain's repeated assertions that Sarah Palin is somehow a person with a track record on the issue of children with special needs.

He even specifically mentioned autism more than once, for some reason, as if Palin has some experience with it. If she has, I am unaware of it.

I'll say it again. Sarah Palin has had a special needs child for just a few months. She has no clue what raising such a child to adulthood requires. Fierce Bob did a blog post on this subject, and said everything I might say about it here, so I won't belabor the point.

But it's really galling to me that both she and McCain continue to use poor little Trig as a political token.
