I'm monetarily relatively poor, that's for sure. The top earners, we know, pay proportionally much more than the rest of us. If they experience a tax increase, then the movers and shakers who provide the jobs we need are further punished. The notion that this helps any of us common relatively poor folk is just a bogus liberal fantasy, albeit attractive to the simple minded. In the real world today, we should go for the Fair Tax.
