"I work hard for my money. Obama wants to take it from me and give it to tumescent layabouts." :>)

Make an ad with this guy
BETSY NEWMARK
Here's a conversation with Joe the plumber familysecuritymatters.org who asked Barack Obama about Obama's plans to tax businesses and people who make over $250,000 a year and to whom Obama explained that his plan is to "spread the wealth around." I'd have Joe explain his dream of working hard for 15 years so he can buy a plumbing business and stock his truck and hire a worker, but how he wouldn't be able to do that all if his taxes are increased. This is what I'm talking about when I say I want McCain to be able to connect policies to how they affect ordinary people. Then explain how McCain's proposals would help Joe out.

I'd much rather see an ad with Joe the plumber than Ayers the unrepentant terrorist. I just think that people tune that stuff out because they're looking to hear how electing this guy or that guy is going to affect them.
