Mme, Doesn't pay to write in a hurry. ;-) I meant to say that I can learn more from someone I disagree with(and I will add most of the time) because I have to defend my arguments and I see where they are weak and where they hold water. You don't have to defend your arguments/ideas properly with people you agree with so your point of view and arguments become skewed. It is emotionally easier to be in a place where everyone agrees, I think that is why people gravitate to places where that occurs. That is why, while I disagree with much of what they write and say, there is a fair modicum of respect for posters like Tim and Moose(I don't mean to leave anyone out, these are just the ones that quickly come to mind) for sticking it out here. I do agree with you that people who come here to drop a line or two and then disappear like LindyBill and then ban people(from what posters here have said) from having an honest discussion in their "safe" sites are hard to learn a lot from but there is something there none the less. I guess some people like their intellectual ghetto and don't like stepping out of their safe zone too much but will do it on occasion for the thrill of it. Neal
