I may not be able to vote for McCain, but how can I vote for someone who unabashedly offers to spread Joe's wealth around?

Because, even in the most narrow sense, it's good for Joe. More folk will be able to afford his plumbing work; less will try to do it on their own because they can't afford Joe.
