Some of my employees asked me my impression of last night's debate. I advised that I thought Obama won. They then asked how will this affect employment, and I advised that I will be laying off people if he wins. We are having a meeting Monday morning to explain the plan to them. We have a budget that must remain positive. I will not put forward a negative budget, I must act on this tax increase and that means I will lose some employees and they will lose their jobs. That is reality. Money does not just appear out of no where. Hopefully they will find employment within a year...this is a bad market.
