I was doing research at that time on the maternal Grandparents-----when the Bible came it opened the paternal part of the family. There are several words that describe this-----serendipity, providence or just being lucky that Bekins was clearing their warehouse. These books were likely there in storage for 20 years. Since we are on the Palin thread-----just a mention of the debates---------John McCain was superb. McCain obviously was enjoying the debate and he was prepared. Obama wilted even more into his slouched posture when McCain won a point. McCain brings both "experience and wisdom" to the President's Office ------very important qualities which we desperately need now. mj
