You read too much Brinker I think. To me it is obvious he doesn't think the rewards for buying now justify the risk.

Many of the seasonal traders are now flat but waiting for their MACD signal to buy.

GroundZero covered his shorts even though his spiral model is still short because he thinks a rally will come and give a new buy signal... so flat is how he plays it except for the short term trading he's quite good at.

Me... I've been buying huge declines to major support for individual stocks on my shopping list at target prices. Lately, I've been getting some great ST gains that seem to hold well. Knock on wood, but one stock I bought on 10/10 at $9.65 is up over $4 since that buy.

BTW, all my charts indicate we had a successful low volume intraday test of the 10/10 lows... probably good news, especially given the sell-off early today and possible green close.
