"This isn't a fairy tale, CJ. It's a long trail of smoke that leads to ACORN."
Data.
Evidence.
Proof.
You know, facts.
True, there is smoke. If you cock you head and squint your eyes.
But, there is nothing like proof.
It isn't like fraudulent voter registrations never happened before. ACORN did not invent them.
"These guys get away with most of their crap by (a) ensuring that voter registration laws remain lax with the IDs, and (b) playing the race card over and over again."
Great imagination, Tenchu. Got any evidence?
You are taking a fact, ACORN procedures are prone to a particular problem. Playing pretend that they are exclusive to ACORN, and concocting a massive conspiracy around it. Sprinkle in some racism, remember your claim of large numbers of illegals doing this?, label any push back as "playing the race card", and we are back into the days of witch hunts. Complete with accusations of criminal behavior when you as asked to back it all up.
Heck, you can't even come up with numbers on how many fraudulent ACORN registrations are turned in but ACORN hasn't flagged. All you have are anecdotes.
I take the stance that we shouldn't start up expensive programs and suppress legitimate voters unless there is some evidence that an actual, genuine problem. So far, there is bupkiss. |
