The market is factoring in an Obama victory, Democrat control of Congress and the socialization of Health Care. Markets are always looking 6-9 months into the future. You mean the 401 pt rise today after last nights debate? : v ) Sorry I couldn't resist. Mike I'm all for drilling off the coast, especially Malibu, have been for years. But it's not a big deal. It won't change much. Now as for nuclear, I'm for it too, provided they can find some insurance. I think it's crazy they can operate a business like that and I can't drive my Tercel (I've had one accident in 40 years) without insurance. I mean if you take a look at San Onofre, if that baby melted down it would destroy an gigantic amount of real estate, kill thousands and give cancer to thousands AND close off the I-5 and Amtrak between LA and San Diego. That's the problem. No insurance companies are that crazy. Maybe pebble is the answer but... insurance. Anwar is strategic for a purpose. By the way I've been an avid bicyclist from long before it was popular.
