And the key reason Canada's banking system is so strong is because it didn't get as affected by the deregulation mania that has proved to be so disastrous for United Statian financial institutions and the country as a whole.

Unlike the ideologues who see everything in black and white, I find that regulation is sometimes good and sometimes bad, and sometimes both good and bad at the same time.
