The best offshore prospects for oil are in California, but you know darn well they'll keep most of that locked up under the mantra of local control. The Gulf of Mexico is more of a gas play, but the industry is getting discouraged by the repeated severe hurricane damage. So we may actually see less offshore drilling if the shale gas boom has legs.

Perhaps there's a CNG-powered Moped in your future. ;>)
