I had an interestin experience about a week ago.On a float trip down the Snake River just south of Jackson I saw an eagle out for a swim (which they don't usually do) Rowed over an she swam to the shore. Climbed outa my small pontoon boat an slowly approached sitting down not 4 feet from this giant bird. We stared (an I took pictures) at each other for about 20 minutes. For a fleeting moment I thought of takin her to a vet to see if she wuz injured but doubting she would understand my good intentions (and observing her awesome weapons)I quickly dismissed this plan.Thus assuming that she wuz just too wet to fly I resumed my trip, leaving her (and mate who wuz flyin overhead).
