It's in the playbook...when you can't refute the message, go after the messenger. Diminish and dismiss the person making the statement if it doesn't jive with your candidate.

Meanwhile the Sec. of State (D)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Brunner of Ohio has broken the law but wants to blame illegal voter registration on the previous secretary of state (R). 22 months past. 200,000 registration in question. This stuff needs to stop.
