On the contrary Ted. Over the past few years I've gained an appreciation of just how difficult it is to be a journalist. The big names on TV, along with famous syndicated columnists like George Will and Paul Krugman, are really the exception. Most journalists would be happy to earn more than a teacher.

In that sense, it's a little like show biz. Heck, both journalism and show biz are left-leaning, so the analogy cuts in more ways than one.
